Sony Xperia SP, the upcoming mid-ranger from Sony is making its leaks here and there. It also appeared in some live photos. The device has now posed for a press shot like image, but unfortunately there is no proof to confirm the authenticity of the photo. The Sony Xperia SP is expected to take its wraps off on March 18 Monday at an event in Russia.

The appearance of the device in a press shot like rendering days before the purported announcement makes some sense, and also it seems to be identical to those previously leaked images, but still there may be a chance that the renderings will be someone’s Photoshop skills at work.
Xperia SP is rumored to be landing with a 4.6 inch 720p HD touchscreen, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, Adreno 320 graphics. It’s also supposed to come with a 720p HD touchscreen, 8 MP Exmor camera, 8 GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, and runs on Android 4.1.2.
The expected dimensions of the phone is 130.6×67.1×9.98 mm with hefty 155 grams weight.
