Intel Clover Trail Powered Lenovo K900 Gets April 17 Release Date

Earlier this year Lenovo introduced the first ever Intel powered Full HD 1080p device, called K900. During the announcement of the device the company had promised a possible April release of the device in China, but didn't mentioned any specific time slot then. Now the latest report points that Lenovo already started the production of the device and it will be in stores by April 17. There is no confirmed details on the pricing, but still according to the source the price will be around 2,999 yuan (almost $483, €371, or £325).

Lenovo K900 is the first and only smartphone that features 1080 Full HD display on Intel's latest Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ processor platform. Recently the Indian phone makers XOLO is rumored to be introducing a new Intel Clover Trail smartphone, but the device is yet to be confirmed by officials.

Apart from the 2GHz dual core Intel processor the K900 offers a 5.5" screen, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot for storage expansion, stainless steel alloy plus polycarbonate body that scales up to just 6.9mm thin and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Lenovo is planning to release the device in multiple colors including Silver, Copper and Grey.

Currently it is the Chinese release details that has popped up, but there is no idea on the availability of the device outside China.
