HTC introduced their flagship device HTC One back in February, and its new camera technology named ultrapixels was one of the prime focuses for the device. The company during the announcement had promised that the device will be able to take pictures much better than its rivals in the market. But the reviews on the camera of the device were not so promising, and there were reports all around about the under performance. The low light performance felt better, but the camera did not perform well in daylight. The issue however was not identified to be with hardware, and rumored to be just because of some software malfunctions.


Now the reports from Asia points that the camera improved many folds and is now doing well with its ultrapixels. The folks at HardwareZone.com noticed a great change in the picture quality, thanks to the latest firm wire updates from HTC. The company now seems to have fixed the problem in the newer version of the software. The source posted the before and after sample shots, and we can see that the 'One' camera capturing much sharp and crisper images, specially around the edges.
HTC is planning to roll out HTC One in in UK, Germany and Taiwan later this week, and we may hope that the phone will be landing with the software update pre-loaded.
