For being a high end smartphone, at least a 5" 1080p Full HD display seems to be a must have feature, by analyzing the recent high-rangers. In that sense, Apple seems to be far behind, as its latest generation iPhone tipped to 4" only and resolution is 1136 x 640 resolution with 326 pixels per inch. But still the device gains the attention of plethora of smartphone lovers.
Now the rumors on the next generation iPhone have already started emerging the web, and the latest one on the device is about the screen size.
According to the Barclays Capital analyst Ben Reitzes "we should expect Apple to release an iPhone with a larger, 5-inch screen" The reason he points out for a 5" device is the gradual rise in the popularity of the phablet devices, and he also adds that being able to use the iPhone 5 with one hand is “less important since phone calls are becoming less important than navigation, texting, videos, books and Web access for many.”
He believes that the iPhone 5S will be released in the middle of 2013, and the 5-inch iPhone by the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
