LG's Optimus series is expanding, and each of the devices in the series focuses on a particular segment. With the introduction of Optimus G devices, LG targeted high end users who expect maximum performance from their mobile device, and just recently the company introduced Optimus L series, with entry-level and mid-range products, now the South Korean makers announced a new extension for their Optimus series, called Optimus F.

The new F series includes two devices, Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 , both of them offers 4G LTE support. According to LG the devices are "designed to bring a premium user experience and the speed of 4G LTE to a mass audience." LG will showcase the devices at MWC next week, and this time the company leaving no element of mystery for MWC this year.
Both of the devices offers the dual-core processing power and runs on 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Now let's check out the specifications one by one.
LG Optimus F7 is the bigger one in the duo with a 4.7-inch 4.7-inch True HD IPS display with 312 ppi. There will be a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core processor and a 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a micro SD card that support up to 32GB. An auto focus 8MP camera take its place on rear side, while the front is equipped with a 1.3 MP shooter. LG Optimus F7 comes with a dimension of 131.7 x 68.2 x 9.6mm and houses a 2,540mAh.
Optimus F5 also looks good in terms of specifications. Offering a dual core processing power with a 1.2 GHz processor on a 4.3-inch IPS (256 ppi)display. The RAM is reduced to 1 GB in the device, but the storage options are the same, 8GB storage with a microSD card support ranges up to 32GB. The camera scales down to a 5 MP one, while the front shooter keeps same resolution, 1.3 MP. It houses a 2,150mAh battery and measures 126.0 x 64.5 x 9.3mm.
