Back Side Of Intel Powered Asus FonePad Gets Leaked Along With Its Full Specifications

It seems like the Asus plays the twister game with their device names. The company has already introduced a tablet smartphone combo pack, PadFone back in 2011, and now the reports says that the upcoming tablet from Asus would be coming with a name FonePad. No official details available about the device, but the rumors and leaks points that the device may get announced in the upcoming MWC, that is going to take place in Barcelona by the end of this month.

Now the complete specifications of the device along with the back side of the device surfaced over at a Bulgarian website. The FonePad is said to be a 7-inch Intel powered tablet with 1,280×800 IPS touchscreen display. Under the hood it packs a 1.2 GHz Intel Z2420 processor along with PowerVR SGX540 graphics, 1 GB of memory and an internal storage options of 8 / 16 / 32 GB. The storage can be further expanded with microSD card. There will be a 3 MP camera on the rear side and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and packs a 4,270 mAh battery. It measures 196.6×120.1×10.4 mm, and will weigh 340 grams. The tablet can be used as a phone also, that is quite rare in the tablet space.

It sports an aluminium casing, and also the ‘Intel inside’ logo is visible in the leaked picture in all its glory.
