Alcatel seems to have gone crazy introducing new mobiles. Earlier this year they had announced 13 new mobile devices at CES. They continue to unveil new mobile devices at the MWC too. Just two days ago Alcatel introduced a high end 5" One Touch Idle X and a Firefox OS based One Touch Fire at the same MWC venue. Now the company is adding two more devices to the MWC line-up, named One Touch Snap and the Snap LTE, 4G version of the device.

One Touch Snap is a 4.5-inch qHD device with 540×960 resolution and under the hood it offers a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor power along with 1 GB of RAM and a 4GB of on-board storage. The camera provided in the Snap is a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, capable of 720p video recording and a 1.3 MP front camera. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Other features includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 1,800 mAh battery etc. It measures 130.3x67x8.99 mm and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
While the One Touch Snap LTE is considered as a 4G-enhanced twin brother of the Snap. However the sibling is not so identical as the LTE version lands with some major changes.

Firstly the screen is increased in size, and offers a bigger, 4.65-inch touchscreen, but the resolution is lesser than the original Snap, the 4G version only offers a 480×854 resolution. The rear camera is the same 8 MP one, but it is capable of recording 1080p Full HD videos and there is also a change in the front facing camera resolution, it's a 2MP one. The battery is slightly bigger one, packs a 2200mAh battery inside the box, that makes it a bit thicker device. It measures 134 x 69.6 x 10.9 mm. Unfortunately the Snap 4G delivers only dual core processor power, with a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and also the OS is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Snap will hit the stores somewhere in April, and 4G snap in July 2013.
