ZTE Grand Memo Announced Officially With A Huge 5.7" Display

To be there in the list of top 3 phone makers around the world within 2015, is the goal of Chinese phone makers ZTE, and they are on right track it seems. Their latest range of products unveiled at MWC, shows the fire, to be a major player in mobile space going forward. At Barcelona, Spain ZTE have introduced a few devices among them ZTE Grand Memo, with its huge 5.7" display, grabs our attention quickly.

According to ZTE, the Grand Memo will be the first smartphone that lands with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor introduced last month. ZTE reduced the clock speed to 1.5GHz, even though it can range up to 2.3GHz, and this may be to save the battery life.

The 5.7" display offers a 1280 x 720 pixels, that is pretty enough for a descent viewing experience, and there will be a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, that can be further expanded with a microSD card. The 13 MP rear camera will take panorama shots and adds a face recognition feature to the list. 1MP front-facing camera makes your video calling more colorful. Grand Memo never skips any connectivity feature and packs almost all the regular connectivity features like WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE etc.

Grand Memo scales up to 8.5mm in thickness, but still packs a big 3,200mAh battery inside the box. It also offers ZTE’s Cloud service.

ZTE Grand Memo is slated for a second quarter release around the world, but there is no word on the pricing of the device.
