HTC One Goes Official With Awesome Features

Well guys the wait is all over, and finally it happened as we expected, HTC takes  us into a 'One' world, that is above and beyond our expectations. HTC officially announced their flagship device HTC One, at a special event held in New York City and London simultaneously. The interesting thing is that most of the rumors and speculations got their place in the device, and thankfully those rumors were worthy.

HTC perfectly blends style and power in the device, to make it stand out with its rivals, and they have also included a range on new features, not present in previous HTC models.

Camera

Camera is always a great selling point for HTC devices, and in 'One' also HTC focused on the photo-taking capabilities. HTC included a new Ultrapixel tech behind the lens, and it did pretty well, making it to deliver one of the best camera experience. The camera features a F2.0 aperature and 28mm lens along with a special sensor that can offer 300 percent more light than other smartphone cameras, says company. The front-facing shooter is of the wide-angle variety, that will help it to perform better, on those selfies shots. Apart from that the camera features Optical Image Stabilization, HTC’s ImageChip 2 and a new feature

Zoe

Zoe a new feature, that will let the users to "shoot high-res photos that come to life in three-second snippets." With Zoes, users can edit the pictures and videos with different cuts, transitions, effects and music and then share through their favorite social networks or email.

BlinkFeed

When you first unlock the device, your eyes opens into a new home screen experience, and with the BlinkFeed you can customize your home screen, and can build up a stream of news updates, social media updates, entertainment and lifestyle updates, and a range of updates to keep you up to date with your world.

It includes content from 1,400 media sources, and will offer up more than 10,000 articles per day, and just a quick swipe to the right will launch your standard (HTC) Android home screen, if you are done with your updates.

BoomSound

At a first glance, users will find two new front-facing stereo speakers, that the company calls it as "BoomSound" that comes with a dedicated amplifier and the company says it will deliver best audio experience of any mobile phone available today. It is hard to find an HTC device with out Beasts Audio symbol, and of course the "One" also does.

Apart from these special features HTC has included all the high-end specs in the "One" to make it a perfect competitor for its opponents. The main specifications of the device includes

  • GPS with GLONASS,4G LTE, NFC

  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean topped with HTC's Sense 5 UI

  • 2,300mAh battery


It sports an aluminium uni-body design and offers a transparent Power/Lock key on top that doubles as an IR port to control home equipment. It measures 137.4×68.2×9.3 mm and it weighs 143 grams. HTC One comes in black, red and silver colors. It will become available starting from March, around the globe, and will launch in March this year.
