Pantech Perception Spotted At FCC Ahead Of Its Verizon Launch

The Korean makers Pantech are shaking hands with the big red once again and this time for the device named Pantech Perception. The new device is rumored to be hitting the Verizon by the first quarter of 2013 and it is putting one step closer to the launch by making its way to the FCC. The device stops by FCC and photographed from all the possible angles.

By digging FCC filing, we can find that the device features an 8-megapixel camera, microSD slot with support for cards up to 32GB in size, NFC and 4G LTE connectivity. But from the previous rumors the Pantech Perception will be a 720p resolution device, but the size is unknown yet. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor along with 1GB of RAM.

In terms of specifications, the device seems to be a sibling of Pantech's Discover for AT&T, so the price tag will also be in that range, around $50, for contract and definitely a nice option for those who are looking for an affordable handset from Verizon.
