Nokia Lumia 720 Is Here

At MWC Nokia unwraps a new device in their Lumia range, called Lumia 720. The device is optimized for the upper-mid ranger, and fills the gap between a high end and mid range models with its features. It sports a design similar to its big brothers like Lumia 800, and runs on Windows Phone 8.

Nokia have managed to include those high end features into the device, but still kept the price in an affordable range of around €249 (before taxes and subsidies).

One of the main focus points of the device is its camera, and the company claims that it will offer "the best camera experience of any midrange smartphone." It uses Carl Zeiss optics with a large f1.9 aperture for its 6.7MP rear camera, and it works fine in low-light conditions and delivers a video capture at 720p 30FPS.

Lumia 720 features the same curved glass display design as in Lumia 800, for its 4.3 inch IPS ClearBlack display with an 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The display works well with gloves also. Lumia 720 uses the dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, along with 512MB of RAM and for storage there is an 8GB of internal memory that can be MicroSD card support.

The 2,000 mAh battery available in the device is pretty good, for a mid ranger with a juice of 13.5 hours of talk-time, or up to 520 hours of stand-by time. It weighs around 128 grams, measures 127.9 mm x 67.5 x 9 mm.
Like any other Windows 8 siblings from Nokia, the Lumia 720 is landing in a range of attractive colors - red, yellow, cyan, magenta, etc.

It weighs 128 grams, measures 127.9 mm x 67.5 x 9 mm and comes with a 2,000 mAh battery (up to 13.5 hours of talk-time, or up to 520 hours of stand-by time).
