Samsung added two new devices to their Galaxy range of smartphones, Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame. Both the devices sports mid range specifications and can be added to the affordable line-up from Samsung. The Galaxy Fame is the higher end one in the two, and difference comes in screen size, the Galaxy Fame offers 3.5-inch HVGA TFT where the screen size tips to 3.27-inch HVGA in Galaxy Young. The Fame offers a 5 MP camera, GLONASS and optional NFC and Bluetooth 4.0, where as in Galaxy Young there is only a 3 MP camera and a Bluetooth 3.0.

In terms of common features, both the devices offers a 1 GHZ processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS topped with new TouchWiz UI, 4GB internal memory, 1300mAh battery, HSPA and also various Hub services.
Both the devices comes in white and blue color options, where the Galaxy Young is also available in red and metallic silver colors.
Samsung offers dual SIM version of the devices in some selected markets.
