
Acer introduced a new device to their 2013 smartphone line-up, Acer Liquid Z2, and also extended the Liquid E1, announced last month, to Europe also, ahead of MWC. So the company has two new devices to showcase at MWC. Both the Liquid E1 and Liquid Z2 are landing in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Ukraine, with Russia, UK and Italy to follow. Liquid E1 is priced at €199-€229 ($270-$310), while the Liquid Z2 will retail for around €100-€130 ($134-$175). Both of them lands in dual-SIM versions too.
In terms of specification, Acer Acer Liquid Z2 offers a 3.5" HVGA display and powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor. Under the hood it hides a 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and also offers Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G connectivity, FM Radio, A-GPS and SRS Sound enhancement on board. The camera is supposed to be a 3 MP or 5 MP one. Liquid Z2 measures 110 x 62.5 x 12.25 mm, and weighs around 110g with a 1,300mAh battery.
While the Liquid E1 offers a 4.5 inch qHD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, DTS Sound etc. No idea on whether they are going to showcase the Intel-powered Liquid C1 at MWC.
