After the debacle story of their WebOS devices, it seems like the HP is once again planning to check their luck in the mobile space. According to the source ReadWrite, the company is cooking a range of mobile devices, including both tablets and smartphone, and the world’s leading PC makers this time choose Android OS to power their devices.
One of the devices from HP's Android range is surely a tablet, and according to the source, this will be a high-end one powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 chip, and may be one of the first devices with the Tegra 4, and the interesting news is that HP has been working on the device since last Thanksgiving day. The device could be announced soon after the Mobile World Congress event. The source also points towards a possible smartphone from the company that runs on Android itself.
"HP is holding private meetings during the Mobile World Congress in Barcleona, Spain, later this month, and it might show off the new Android tablet there behind closed doors. But we were told not to expect an official announcement until after the show. Look for more details in the coming weeks.” says the source.
So let's wait for more on HP's Android chapter.
