Meet the new Android offering from the Chinese maker UMI, the UMI X2. The company introduced this device in India, and it grabs tons of attention as it packs a range of features that we often associate with smartphones available for a huge prices.

Now let's check the features in detail - UMI X2 is landing with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but don't get fed up as the company promises for a Android 4.2 update as early as in April itself. The screen, as we said is a high end one with 5-inch full HD IPS display with 920x 1080 resolution and an impressive pixel density of 441PPI. The Gorilla Glass 2 coating will offer extra protection for the device from scratches. It runs on a 1.2 GHz MTK MT6589 quad-core processor assisted with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. 2 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt memory is more than enough for storage and in case if you need additional storage, the device also supports a microSD card. You can extend your storage with a micdoSD card up to 32GB.
More over the UMI X2 offers an impressive 13 megapixel rear camera with flash and a 3 megapixel front facing camera. The phone has dual SIM support and comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G etc in terms of connectivity. There is a large 2500 mAH battery.
UMI is planning to launch the device in March between 15-20.
