Just last week Acer introduced the stylish Liquid E1 with a 4.5" touch screen and 1 GHz processor. The company is again introducing a new phone, and this time with a special device, Acer Liquid C1. It will be the first Intel powered smartphone from Acer, and the second one from Intel, as the chip makers have already introduced an ultra-cheap Yolo / Xolo X500 lat week at Kenya.

Ace's Liquid C1 falls into a mid ranger category, with 4.3 inch IPS display that offers 960 x 540 pixels resolution, single-core 1.2GHz Atom Z2420 Lexington processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS etc. The rear side is equipped with a 5MP camera and there is also a VGA front facing camera. It runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and houses a 2,000 mAh battery that offers up to 9 hours of talk-time.
Acer is planning to launch the device first in Thailand starting from February itself, and is reported to cost around $335. Looks like the device will soon make its launch in other South Asian markets soon.
